MyLog was built by someone who has lived it. As a parent of two children with special needs, the founder witnessed the same struggle repeatedly: families drowning in notebooks, diaries, Post-it notes, and scattered records when they needed them most for assessments, funding applications, GP visits etc.
The problem wasn’t lack of care. It was lack of tools that actually worked for real whānau living real lives.
MyLog is the digital care diary we wish had existed when we needed it. Simple, respectful, culturally grounded in Te Whare Tapa Whā, and built specifically for Aotearoa families supporting someone with a disability, dementia, chronic illness, or age-related care needs.

Ajit Kumar Nair, Founder & Director (MyMate Limited) brings lived experience as a parent of two children with special needs, 11+ years work experience with Ministry of Social Development, 5+ years work experience with Ministry of Business, Innovation & Emplpoyment and 35+ years in design and technology.
This isn’t a tech startup chasing trends. It’s a parent who sat in the same NASC meetings you have, filled out the same forms, had the same repeated conversations with support workers, and thought: “There has to be a better way!”
