Last Updated: April 14, 2026
Effective Date: April 14, 2026
Last Tested: April 2026 (internal review)

Our Commitment: MyMate Limited is committed to ensuring that MyLog is accessible, inclusive, and usable for people of all abilities. We aim to provide a service that supports independence, dignity, and equitable access for people with disabilities and their support networks.

1. Our Accessibility Commitment / Tā mātou Whakaaetanga

We are actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of MyLog in line with recognised best practices, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a minimum standard. We are working toward WCAG 2.2 AA compliance.

Our goals are to:

  • Ensure content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust
  • Support a wide range of assistive technologies
  • Provide a simple and predictable user experience
  • Continuously identify and remove accessibility barriers

Important: While we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards, we do not currently guarantee full compliance across all areas of the platform. Accessibility improvements are ongoing. This statement reflects our current position as of April 2026, based on internal review. We have not yet undertaken an independent third-party audit and will communicate when we do.

2. Accessibility Features / Ngā Āhuatanga Urunga

MyLog includes the following accessibility features:

  • Keyboard Navigation: Core functionality can be accessed using a keyboard without requiring a mouse
  • Screen Reader Compatibility: Designed to work with common screen readers (e.g., NVDA, VoiceOver)
  • Clear Structure: Use of headings, labels, and semantic HTML to improve navigation
  • High Contrast Design: Text and interface elements designed for readability
  • Simple Language: Content is written in clear, plain English where possible
  • Form Accessibility: Labels, instructions, and error messages are provided for key forms
  • Responsive Design: Usable across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
  • Voice-to-Text Support: Users may utilise device-level voice input tools

3. Known Limitations / Ngā Herenga E Mōhiotia Ana

Despite our efforts, some areas of MyLog may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Some older pages or components may not fully meet contrast or labelling standards
  • Uploaded user content (e.g., images without descriptions) may not be accessible to screen readers
  • Third-party integrations (e.g., payment providers) may have their own accessibility limitations outside our control
  • Some dynamic elements may have limited compatibility with certain assistive technologies

We are actively working to identify and address these issues. If you encounter a specific barrier not listed here, please contact us — user-reported issues directly shape our improvement priorities.

4. Assistive Technology Compatibility / Ngā Hangarau Āwhina

MyLog is designed to be compatible with commonly used assistive technologies, including:

  • Screen readers (e.g., NVDA, VoiceOver)
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Speech recognition software
  • Browser zoom and text resizing tools

Note: Performance may vary depending on the device, browser, and assistive technology used. If you experience compatibility issues with a specific tool or setup, please let us know so we can investigate.

5. Ongoing Improvements / Te Whakapai Tonu

We are committed to continuous accessibility improvement.

Our approach includes:

  • Regular internal reviews against WCAG guidelines
  • Testing with assistive technologies where feasible
  • Prioritising accessibility in new feature development
  • Addressing user-reported accessibility issues
  • Working toward an independent accessibility audit

Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time effort.

6. Accessibility Support / Tautoko Urunga
